Sadly, this little beauty's good looks are skin deep. In the dozen or so times I've used it since it was delivered at the end of December, the poor thing has not toasted anything even close to evenly. At first, I figured it just needed to be used, but today when it toasted one side of a single slice and left the other side still soft bread, I knew it had to go back. I just asked the seller for a Return Authorization number. Too bad. It looks so nice sitting on the counter. I'll miss it. (Sniff)

This was the exact style of toaster I was looking for. I wanted one that sat parallel to the wall and one with the bagel setting. Did I mention it also had to be red? Problem?--the toaster toasts the one side of the bread darker than the other side. Sometimes I have to turn the bread around and toast twice to make it perfect.
